We founded Wild Emerald in 2024 after working for years in the wedding and elopement industry in Ireland, Wild Emerald brings together Stephanie and Sara, two best friends and wedding professionals with over 30 years of combined experience. Together, we create effortless, personal, and unforgettable celebrations for couples choosing Ireland as their dream wedding destination.

For me, eloping is about more than a beautiful backdrop. It’s about slowing down, choosing what matters most, and leaving the stress behind. My role is to keep the planning simple, helping with ideas, locations, timings, and the small details that make the day flow naturally.
I know this coastline inside out and love sharing its mix of wild drama and quiet corners. Some couples want a big adventure, others prefer something stripped back and simple, either way, I’ll help shape a day that feels true to you.
I came to planning after 15 years as a wedding photographer. Capturing intimate elopements showed me how powerful these moments are, and that’s what inspired me to help couples design them from the very beginning.

The North Coast is my home, and I love its wild, dramatic beauty. From castle ruins over crashing waves to rolling green hills, hidden beaches, waterfalls, and rugged coastal hikes, every corner is alive, romantic, and full of possibility.
I fell in love with elopements while working with couples on their big day. Seeing how much more personal, relaxed, and meaningful a day could be when it focused entirely on the couple made me realise that planning is my passion. I invest fully in my couples, forming a genuine connection so the day flows effortlessly while staying completely true to them.
I handle every detail, timing, and hiccup so couples can be fully present with each other and the magic of the North Coast, creating memories they will treasure forever. Over the years, I’ve built strong relationships with local vendors, many personal friends, allowing me to choose the very best to bring each couple’s vision to life.
I focus on planning elopements that feel effortless, personal, and unforgettable. Every detail is designed to flow naturally so couples can simply enjoy the day. With over 15 years’ experience as a bridal makeup artist, I bring a calm and creative eye to the finer details, making sure everything feels seamless from start to finish.
How It All Began
We met about 12 years ago when we were working together as creatives at a magazine. We hit it off straight away, we both loved being creative and telling stories in different ways. Over time, we became really close friends, and somewhere along the way, we realised we both had a real passion for weddings, especially the smaller, more personal ones.
Wild Emerald kind of grew naturally from there. At the start, it was just the two of us helping couples elope in Ireland, a bit of photography, a bit of beauty, and pulling the day together however we could. just helping people have an amazing, easygoing day.
Things just grew from there. More and more couples started reaching out, wanting to come from all over the world to Ireland for their own little adventure. Now together we look after everything, finding the best spots, lining up the best local vendors, and making sure the whole day feels relaxed and full of magic.
Our whole thing is keeping it simple, beautiful, and true to you so you can JUST show up, soak it all in, and enjoy every second.
